Hi and welcome to my cello class! I’m a music performer and educator who loves interacting with younger students and inspiring them to fall in love with the beautiful world of music-making! I’m very passionate about teaching music and hope to help my students learn to play the instrument with ease, fun, and enjoyment! I will soon graduate from Indiana University with my Master’s degree in Cello Performance and I have been enjoying teaching on Outschool and inspiring younger students through...
Through satisfactory completion of the lessons, students will: - Learn the fundamentals of playing the cello - Learn how to hold the cello and the bow properly - Learn the fundamentals of music reading, notation, and rhythm skills - Learn how to approach a new piece with ease - Expand their repertoire - Build their technical, and musical skills - Build their confidence as a performer and musician

I advise my students to practice 15-20 minutes every day.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
