Beginner - Advanced Level
In this class we will: -introduce new musicians to the beginning level of playing bass guitar. -teach students according to their level of experience. -teach individual notes as well as collections of notes (riffs, runs, etc) in playing. -work on one or more skills like learn “2-finger”, “flat pick”, and “pop-n-slap” styles. (No, those aren’t Kung-Fu moves. Lol) I'll keep a record of their progress in order to ensure they get the most out of each class. Learners can bring me a song they want to learn how to play and I will teach them how to play it. I also have a collection of popular and various styles of songs. My highest goal is that playing bass would be a fun experience for everyone! (Speaking of fun, did you know there's thing called a "ukulele bass"? I've got one and I'll show you how to make it sound like an upright bass! Plus we'll discuss the benefits of an acoustic bass, which I'll demonstrate as well.)

Learning Needs
I do not have a certification in ADD or Dyslexia assistance, but my oldest daughter has both and I've learned a lot through the years (mostly patience, encouragement, and creativity in relaying information and keeping students engaged).
Pre-Requisites
There are no prerequisites for this class. Students of all ages, skill levels, and passion for music creation are welcome.

Learners will need: -a bass guitar -a bass amp -the correct cord to plug your bass guitar into the amp -a tuner (such as a downloadable tuning app, a built-in tuner, a clip-on tuner, etc.)

I have been a musician for over 25 years, with the main instruments I play being acoustic guitar, classical guitar, and bass guitar.
I grow out the nails on my thumb and first three fingers on my right hand so that I can play traditional classical guitar and fingerpicking on acoustic guitar.
