1. The student will learn some fun songs that they will enjoy playing
2. The will feel more confident playing guitar and with studying music
3. The student will imrpoce their ability to play with a steady beat and keep the tempo steady
4. The student will practice the chords they know, and learn some new ones, based on their level
5. The student will be able to read guitar tablature at their level
6. They will understand and be able to read chord digrams
7. The student will experience a variety of musical styles and learn about different genres
8. We will practice rhythm patterns and the student will improve their rhythm reading and playing skills

I have a bachelor's degree in music education, from Towson University, plus graduate studies in music education. I have 20+ years experience, as a music teacher.  I have taught piano, electric keyboard, guitar, and general music classes, in both the classroom and private settings.

Homework Offered
For learning an instrument, I recommend about 15 - 30 minutes of practice or more, 3 to 5 days per week. The more days you practice and review lesson material, the faster you will level up your skills. 
1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
I will informally assess your level, and let you know how you did during the lesson. If you choose to go on, with me, and take more lessons, your progress will be evaluated as you go.
