Class Experience
Having a 1:1 tutoring session can be extremely beneficial for your child's development and confidence. I want to help cater learning to your child's abilities and interests as much as I can, so working with the parent/guardian will be vital to communicating your child's needs. Your child may have homework or tasks to complete between sessions, so please encourage them to participate in class and outside of class. Students will have individual goals based on their needs for Reading, Writing, and overall English skills.
I have been a licensed K-8 teacher for 11 years, I owned a dance studio, and I have my Masters in Education so teaching students is my life! I have 3 little boys and 1 baby girl, who love to use their imagination creating with building blocks, playing Monster trucks, reading stories, and making crafts! We love to use our imagination and be creative with all topics!
Students may have outside of class homework assigned, such as worksheets or a final project.
30 minutes per class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parents may need to help learners print worksheets or utilize a device for outside of class homework. Any stories used for class will be vetted and chosen to ensure compliance with Outschool policies. Books will comply with class content based on learner's needs and be age-appropriate for the learner.
