Private 1:1 Reading Tutoring -Literacy Assessment With Option of Private Tutoring
In this reading class, your child will be given a Literacy assessment in order to develop an individualized plan tailored to your child's specific reading needs. Following the assessment, parents can choose to set up private tutoring.

In the first class, your child will be given a comprehensive literacy assessment which will cover the following skills: letter identification, letter sound knowledge, phonics skills, phonological awareness, sight word knowledge, reading comprehension, and independent reading level versus instructional reading level. *This first class may take longer than 30 minutes and possibly up to 60 minutes for older students. Students will improve their decoding, phonics, phonological awareness, reading fluency, and reading comprehension skills.
Students will be encouraged to practice reading and sight words.
No materials are required for this class. I will supply any needed materials.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
