Does your learner need a little help with their reading and writing? In this interactive one-on-one weekly class, students will develop new writing skills each week. The following topics will be practiced: - Reading Fluency and Accuracy - Vocabulary - Reading Comprehension - Writing READING strategies that we will be discussing include: - Identifying the Main Idea and Supporting Details - Predicting - Comparing and Contrasting - Determining Plot - Analyzing Characters - Discussing...
Learners will develop their daily writing skills and learn different writing strategies to generate ideas for writing a specific writing task.
Independent practice will be sent to learners each week. This activity is optional and will be completed outside of class time.
- Lined Paper / Notebook - Pencil
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No assessments
