Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their knowledge and proficiency of the Ruby programming language.
Coding exercises will be given upon request. There are many exercises available, so let me know how many you would feel comfortable with, and I will assign them! (They are not mandatory)
Learners will need to create a www.replit.com account prior to our class. This will allow us to code right away, without installing or downloading anything. Replit.com is also the way we will be launching our websites so it is a key part of the class. Learners will also need a computer to program. Some students have been able to program on www.Replit.com from an iPad/tablet, but it is not ideal since it's hard to type.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will be checking for comprehension as we cover each topic.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
