Hi! My name is Maria. I am a Flute and Piccolo player based in Hobart, Australia. I was the principal Piccolo in Johnstown Symphony Orchestra ( Johnstown PA) from 2019 to 2023 and I currently play with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra as a casual musician. I absolutely love playing the flute and teaching, so teaching you or your kid to play the flute combines my two favorite things. I believe everyone has different ways of learning and my approach as a teacher is to help the student find what works best for them, while providing them with the tools and structures that I have learned over the years. I studied in Colombia, Belgium, France and the US and I am absolutely sure that when people have music in their lives are happier.
