Description
Class Experience
I will consult with each parent and ask them if they want me to assign homework. I sometimes use a workbook or online practice as assigned homework. Another option, is for the child to keep an English journal. There are many helpful homework options and I am here to help guide you.
For the first class, only paper and pencil is required. After the first class, we will discuss any additional supplies needed.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I have permission from Daniel DiDio to use the curriculum that he wrote and I purchased from him, which is Chit Chat 2 Fluency. I've used this quality curriculum with many students and I find it fun and challenging. We will be reading books from Unite for Literacy and EPIC Books. If the parent wants me to assign homework, we will decide on an appropriate resource - possibly a workbook or online resource.
