Class experience
In this fun, private one-time or on-going meetup, your learner will be guided to quickly sketch a beloved character of their choice from animation. This is a sketch class, not a technical one, so students will practice quick study of a familiar subject. With teacher guidance, students will follow along using well-known shapes to quickly capture the essence of a character. Students will have the opportunity to learn my own quick sketching techniques. Students may learn some features of the Procreate application for iPad.
Homework Offered
Students should have time to complete their sketch, and will need to color it after the class if they like!Assessments Offered
Grades Offered
**Teacher will be drawing in the Procreate application for iPad, but students are not required to do so. Your learner may use a different application, or traditional materials--whatever they are most comfortable with!** **If participating traditionally: Learners will need to be prepared with their preferred sketching tools.** Materials: Paper Pencil or Pen Colored Pencils, Markers (if they prefer) **If participating digitally: Learners should be comfortable using the digital drawing application of their choice, and should have a separate device for joining the Zoom call.** Materials: - iPad (fully charged) - Apple Pencil or 3rd Party Stylus (also fully charged) - Procreate application downloaded and installed - Another sketching/painting application should be suitable, such as ibis Paint X
Teacher will be using the Procreate app to draw and sharing screen so that learners may clearly see the drawing on their computers/tablets. Learners are not required to using a digital drawing app, and should use whatever materials they are most comfortable with. :)
