Description
Class Experience
Students will learn that even during war, there are rules to be followed. These are a set of guidelines that if not followed can come back to effect you tremendously.
I am an avid WWII historian. I have over 10 years of living history experience. I also 7 years experience of teaching high school history to include World History, World Geography and US History. Additionally, I am a member of a board of directors for a non-profit that runs a former POW camp as a museum. http://camphearne.com
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The class will include portions of a video tour of a prisoner of war camp that is now a museum. There is nothing graphic at the camp in regards to pictures or sights. We'll also discuss what treatments were illegal under the Geneva Convention.
