In this ongoing creative writing club, we'll meet twice a week to write a story together based on a different theme (like unicorns or mermaids!) Learners will have the opportunity to share their stories with the class if they'd like.

✨Theme for the upcoming week: ✨ 🗓️June 10-14 🦄 Unicorns Does your child love writing stories? Do they need some practice writing in fun, imaginative ways that spark their interest? Come join me for this ongoing creative writing club that meets twice a week! Each week, we'll work together to write a story. Your learner will need to bring paper, a pen/pencil, and crayons, markers, and/or colored pencils. We'll start by brainstorming ideas, coming up with a character and a problem, and then we'll write our stories and finish writing between sessions. During our second class, we'll share our stories with each other and then play a writing game (if time allows). For this ongoing class, every week there will be a different possible theme. Themes will be recycled throughout the year. Your learner is welcome to use the weekly theme if they want, or they can make up a totally different story from their own idea. Since this is an ongoing class, you are welcome to jump in at any time! Supply List
Learners will need to bring a journal or notebook to class for journal writing, along with pens, pencils, and/or any art supplies they'd like to use. Any PDF materials needed I will send as a learner message the day before class.

I'm committed to helping your child learn the basic literacy skills they need to succeed in their reading journey. I use high-quality materials and individualize each tutoring lesson to fit your child's specific learning needs.
I've been teaching online for over 4 years. I began my teaching journey as an online ESL teacher, and then transitioned into teaching online preschool and early reading/writing classes.
I've been working with children for over 10 years as a babysitter, nanny, and tutor.
I have a Bachelor's degree in English/Creative Writing. Currently, I'm working on getting an associate's degree in early childhood care and education.
In addition to teaching, I also write fiction for young adults.
