This 3-day Princess Themed Hip-Hop dance class will include a warm-up, stretch time and learn a new routine each day. Princess activity and craft time is also included at the end of class! Feel free to dress-up like your favorite princess!
Class experience
We will listen to and warm-up and stretch to different princess music for about 7-10 minutes. We will then learn choreography to an upbeat dance routine to a princess song. (30-35 minutes) During class we will have a couple breaks that include an activity for about 5 minutes! Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song the children will be learning a routine to is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a routine by the end of the class!
I have been teaching for 21 years in several styles of dance for all ages. I have danced professionally including Walt Disney World, The Orlando Magic (NBA) Dance Team, Carnival Cruise Lines and more. I have directed many dance teams and have judged at competitions and professional dance and cheer team auditions. My passion is to help others be their best! I am passionate, caring and fun and look forward to meeting your child!
6 files available upon enrollmentDay 1 Supply list: Print out Tiara printable (there are a few options to pick from.) Bring scissors, tape, stapler and crayons or colored pencils or makers. Coloring sheets will also be attached but not needed for class. Day 2 Supply list: Print out the mermaid printable. You will also need scissors, tape, crayons or colored pencils or markers and a dry snack to put into your mermaid tail. Day 3 Supply list: Print out Wand Printable. You can bring scissors, tape, stapler, crayons or colored pencils or markers. You can also bring toilet paper/paper-towel roll, a popsicle stick, pencil or pen, or any other items to use, from around your house, for our craft!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing. (Dance at your own risk.)
