For this class, students can wear their favorite princess attire and bring a favorite princess item that they'd like to show to the other students. It can be any princess item that is special to the student (toy, picture, collectible, etc). Each student will be given a chance to practice speaking skills by talking about the item. The teacher will ask guiding questions and a princess-themed visual prop will be used to help the students organize their thoughts about what to say. Students can expect to be asked questions such as: "What does it do?/What do you do with it?" "What is it made of?" "Where did you get it?" "Why is it special to you?" Students will also be allowed to ask questions about each other's princess items. The teacher will use this time to help students understand what a question is/how to properly ask a question. There will also be a princess picture uploaded to the classroom page. This will be accessible upon enrollment and students can color/decorate it before or after class.
