Princess Rapunzel Themed Dance Class - Beginner Hip-Hop/Musical Theatre
This one-time beginners dance class will introduce basic movements of hip-hop. We warm-up, stretch and will learn a fun routine. During class we also take a couple breaks that include learning how to be like a real princess!

During this class we start off with a warm-up and we will stretch our bodies. We will also do some cardio and learn some hip-hop moves for about 7-10 minutes. We will then learn choreography to an upbeat song for approximately 30 -35 minutes. During class we will have a couple breaks that include about 5 minutes to learn what it takes to be like a real princess. Water breaks will be given throughout class but students can take a break whenever needed. Feel free to dress up! *If you have taken the 8 week course then you have taken this class but are more than welcome to repeat! *Duration of warm-up, choreography, game may vary do to student participation. Length of routine may vary depending on ability of majority to pick up choreography. *All music is age appropriate and goes with our theme. *Choreography learned will be of my own creation. *Great option for those that homeschool looking for arts or P.E. option or looking for extracurricular activity for after school or weekends!
Learning Goals
Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a full routine by the end of the class!
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing. (Dance at your own risk.)
