Come and join in for some fun with Moana, Anna, Elsa and Rapunzel! Each class will focus on a different story. Do you have a dress, crown or jewelry? You are welcome to dress up in your princess costumes if you wish but it is not required. Each class will give children a chance to hear and participate in a story, answer and ask questions and demonstrate comprehension. Each day will focus on a different story from one of the above princesses. We will also be doing a craft to go with each story that we read that day! Even if you do not have the supplies needed for class we would still love to see you! I always give alternative things students can do as well as hear the story, listen to songs an socialize! Class 1: Frozen -Introductions (Who is you’re favorite character? What is your favorite part of the movie?) -How to make a Frozen wand! -Interactive story time (craft can also be worked on after class if needed.) -Sharing of craft -Discussion and Questions -Closing Day 2: Moana -Welcome -Who is you’re favorite character? What is your favorite part of the movie? -How to make the heart of Tafiti. -Interactive story time (craft can also be worked on after class if needed.) -Sharing of craft -Discussion and Questions -Closing Day 3: Tangled -Welcome -Who is you’re favorite character? What is your favorite part of the movie? -How to make a paper lantern. -Interactive story time (craft can also be worked on after class if needed.) -Sharing of craft -Discussion and Questions -Closing (Depending on the age of your student parental guidance may be required. Some students may require extra time after class to finish the craft if they cannot complete it in class.)
Learning Goals
Students will most importantly HAVE FUN! They will be able to practice active listening, social skills with the teacher and other students, critical thinking about the story and art skills making the craft!

When students are interested in what they are doing, learning they will WANT to learn! I hope that your students will love to learn and become lifelong learners. I want all children to feel comfortable, engaged, encouraged and have fun in my classes I have worked with students from ages 0-14 for over 20 years. I have held several other jobs than teaching which I adored but at this point this is my passion.
My teaching experience comes from multiple sources. Online I have taught thousands of children overseas to learn English through VIPKid. VIPKid (now VIPTeacher) is known for their vigorous standards and training. I have also taught for an elite online program, called Synthesis. Synthesis is an elite program created by the one of the founders of Ad Astra. (Ad Astra is the school that Elon Musk created at SpaceX.) I have also taught thousands of children right here on Outschool since 2020.
Offline teaching experience comes from teaching at a Montessori pre-school, teaching swim and gym classes, summer camps and Sunday school. I also have taught students with a wide range of mental and physical abilities. All students are welcome in my classes and I am willing to make accommodations if requested.
My education consists of a BA in psychology, a BA in Conflict Resolution, TESL, TEOFL, over 40 online teaching certificates, mental health first aid certification, and palliative care certification.
I have two children who are everything to me. I homeschool them and we love going on adventures together. In my spare time I love travelling, baking, camping, Disney, swimming, the beach, water activities, working out, reading and all things full of sparkle and glitter! You can always find me taking a course or earning some kind of certificate.
