Join me for a fun book club as we make new friends and take adventures with the "Princess in Black". This is a great book club for young learners and will help build on their reading comprehension and reading fluency skills.

Description
Class Experience
Students will practice reading comprehension through discussion and answering questions about the books. Students will increase reading fluency by reading the books and following along with reading.
I have years of experience teaching literacy skills in the elementary school and especially in kindergarten. I am currently working on my Master's in Reading and have taken many professional development courses to continue my craft in providing effective instruction that helps students achieve goals and become successful learners. More than anything, I am just a person who cares and wants children to feel successful and accomplished.
Students are expected to read the book assigned for that week.
The student will need to bring the assigned book to class according to the schedule. At times I may provide a handout/coloring page students are encouraged to bring for class, but it is not required.
Informal assessment will take place throughout the class.
