Princess Colors, Shapes and Patterns

In this class we will talk about shapes and colors, and patterns,  which are all key components of early childhood math.  Learners will listen to the teacher read   a "Little Mermaid Colors" book and identify different items that they see that are the color. They will also be shown various Disney princess and identify the colors of their dresses or clothing.  Students will also learn about basic shapes (circle, square, triangle, rectangle, star, heart and diamond) by listening to the teacher read "Tangled Shapes" book and by going through a teacher made interactive and engaging slide presentation.  The students will practice identifying shapes my attributes and will also use shapes and Disney Princesses to identify and extend patterns.  At the end of class, students will have the opportunity for Show and Tell.  They can share a princess item or anything that they choose.
