Please check the meeting dates of each section, as some sections are met more than once a week, and students will only meet with me for less than 8 weeks. ★━━━━━━━━━★━━━━━━━━━★ ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: What will be taught? ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Japanese writing systems wk1 A and Ka lines wk2 Sa and Ta lines wk3 Na and Ha lines wk4 Introduction to dakuon and handakuon, review of the first half of the chart wk5 Ma and Ya lines wk6 Ra and Wa lines wk7 Introduction to youon and sokuon, review of the second half of the chart wk8 Final review of hiragana with games and a wrap up reading activity ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: How is your class structured? ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: We will meet in zoom for 45 minutes ONCE a week. The class will have slides with easy to see illustrations and sensei will explain and model the pronunciation and the stroke order of each hiragana. If the time allows we will reinforce what we learned by playing games together. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: How will you teach? ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: On zoom through Outschool platform. External resources such as Quizlet for vocabulary decks, and Gimkit assignments. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: What's your teaching style? ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Easy-going, but perhaps because of the subject I teach, most students are really respectful, which I truly appreciate. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: How much will learners get to interact with you and each other (mention specifics like: lecture, games, slides, video clips, discussion)? ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Learning a foreign language is all about interaction!!
