Description

Class Experience

The learner will read and play notes on the treble staff in C position. 

National Music Standard
MU:Pr6.1.2a Perform music for a specific purpose with expression and technical accuracy.
I have taught both class and private lessons using these materials. 
Younger students may need help with practice and activities. The pacing of this course may be adjusted to accommodate the learners. Assignments will be given at the end of each class.
Learners need a piano/keyboard, binder or folder, and a pencil. Downloadable materials will be provided.
Learners will be informally assessed on demonstration of basic piano skills.
Learners will for formally assessed on identifying notes on the treble staff and identifying note values.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Learners will be given a link to a practice page that is just for their class. The link is on my website and may include video demonstrations of the songs recorded by the teacher and play along audio. There are no outside links on the practice page.
