35 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this fun, one time course we will be learning primary and secondary color via experimentation with dye, oil, and water. For the first 15 minutes I will do a fun lecture explaining primary and secondary colors, ending with with an explanation of the mechanisms of our experiment. Then we will proceed the last 15 minutes with the experiment. Here each student will choose two primary food dyes of their choice. They will then follow the experiment as is seen in the class video. This will allow the learners to see how two primary colors work together to make secondary colors. I will then have each learners tell the class the two primary colors they chose, and what secondary color the combination made.
Learning Goals
Learners will learn what are the primary, and secondary colors. They will then learn how combining two primary colors makes secondary colors.

Parental Guidance
PARENTS! Please stay with your child to monitor and help throughout the project. The colored water may look appetizing to the younger learners prompting the thought of drinking it. I will also forewarn to not consume any of the liquid. But I need you to be by their side to enforce this for their safety. Be wary of your electronic devices, spills may happen!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I'm Ms. Amatullah. I am a mom to a wild heart and a sweet little thing. I love nature, cultures, trying new foods, documentaries, and learning. I have an inner child, and she’s in control most of the time.
I possess a Bachelor's in Biology, with a Chemistry minor, on a Pre-Med track. I have worked online teaching Chinese children English over two platforms VipKid and GogoKid. Much of my work has been a volunteer or paid in-home visits. I am a professional henna artist with over 7 years of experience. I also have coordinated an Arabic learning group for young children in my community.
The subjects I have taught/tutored vary greatly from the sciences, Math for young children, English, Arabic Alphabet basics, and so on. Just as the subjects vary, so do the age groups that I have worked with. I enjoy the art of teaching. The most rewarding feeling is seeing that “Oh, I get it now" moment on my student's face.
I don’t have a degree in education, but I have gained an understanding of life. I believe that children need awareness from their educators. I believe awareness, could break so many barriers allowing for growth in learning, and growth in a child’s journey. I also believe the key to success is confidence. Confidence in self, success, and even failures.
I look forward to offering classes that will benefit your child.
