In this weekly class, students will learn social skills and fair ways to play in various scenarios. Students will learn through engaging activities, role play, and book discussion.

In this ongoing weekly course, I will cover one life skill per week. All lessons will help students achieve the learning goals. This class is especially excellent for younger students to continue learning and practicing social-emotional skills outside the classroom. WEEKLY TOPICS: - Weekly topics will be identifying feelings, sharing, making good choices, having a calm body, and active listening. - Even though the class is ongoing, students may begin or end at any point as mastery is achieved 04/21/2025- topic: Zones of Regulation - Identifying feelings - identifying facial expressions and body language -building emotional vocabulary -cause and effect -improving communication skills 04/28/2025 - topic: Be fair and share - learning ways to share, trade, or take turns in a variety of scenarios 05/05/2025- topic: Good and Bad Choices - identifying good and bad choices - understanding how choices result in praise or consequences -understanding how choices affect others 05/12/2025- topic: Finding My Calm -finding ways to calm down that work for the individual student -creating a calm card for future use 05/19/2025- topic: Active Listening -identifying how we use our bodies to listen -ears -eyes -quiet mouth -calm body 05/26/2025- topic: Problem-Solving Skills -learning the problem-solving steps: 1. Say "Stop _______" 2. Ignore 3. Walk away 4. Report to an adult 5.
