This is an on-going class for learners that love puzzles, logic, and critical thinking. It is best for high performing learners in the 1st-3rd grades.

This class is designed for learners that are high performing 6-8 year olds. These puzzles are often used in gifted programs to develop logic skills. In this class, learners will learn to think through the clues given and solve the puzzles based on the clues. They will be encouraged to share their thinking process as they complete the puzzles. Learners will practice logic and deductive reasoning skills by doing a variety of types of puzzles.
I am a certified educator with 20 years teaching experience. I've taught both elementary and middle school, as well as been a gifted education teacher for over half of my teaching career. Gifted education is a special passion of mine so many of my classes are tailored towards gifted and/or high-level learners, however I'm happy to work with any student who is interested in learning and growing. My ultimate goal is to create classes and activities which encourage students to step up their thinking with a little bit of challenge, all while having fun in a safe, nurturing, and caring environment.
