Hello and welcome to my Pretty Pretend Nail Salon. My classroom will be set up to look like a nail salon by using a specially designed background. We will begin the class by cutting out our hand/nail painting pages. All students will then be assigned the role of nail technicians for the duration of the class. In our salon, learners will use child-safe nail polish, paint, crayons, or markers to color nails on printed hand/nail painting pages. If students would like to, they can decorate the colored nails with rhinestones also. Students will learn appropriate socialization skills such as speaking to others in a polite manner and turn-taking. Students will also be able to express their creativity in a safe environment. The activities in my class are designed so that students have the ability to work on fine motor skills while having fun and creating something they are proud of. I look forward to meeting your little nail technician in my classroom!

Parental Guidance
Students will be using safety scissors.
Students may be using child-safe nail polish.
Students may also be using glue and rhinestones.
