Students will learn various social communication skills, such as: -verbal/nonverbal social cues (e.g., facial expressions, body language) -expected versus unexpected behaviors in various situations -making friends/identifying if someone is your friend -personal space -appropriate eye contact -greetings -initiating/maintaining a conversation -turn-taking -conflict resolution -compliments
I am uniquely qualified to work on various communication and language skills, including social skills. I work with children of all ages in a public school district.
