Press Start Book #1: Game Over, Super Rabbit Boy! (Flex Class)

In this 4-session flexible schedule course, students will dive into the world of Animal Town! This is the perfect book for reluctant or struggling readers. This class is a flexible schedule class and will not meet for any live sessions. 

Each week, students will be sent a video read aloud of me reading few chapters from the book (schedule below). After the read aloud, students will complete interactive assignments using platforms such as Kahoot and Google Slides. Once completed, students will share their work with me (step by step directions will be sent after enrollment). I will give feedback each week on submitted work. Students do not need a copy of the book, as I will be reading the book aloud, as well as showing the text and pictures. 

This type of class is great for students who want to take classes at their own pace and at a time that best fits their schedule. It also works well for students who are unfamiliar or uncomfortable with the online class format. 

Each week, students will receive a link for a Kahoot game to answer comprehension questions over chapters read and also a link to a Google Slides assignment for a reading response activity. Detailed instructions will be provided upon enrollment. Your child will love this interactive and new spin on reading comprehension!

Week 1: Chapters 1-3 
Week 2: Chapters 4-6
Week 3: Chapters 7-9
Week 4: Chapters 10-11
