Description

Class Experience

Speaking can change the world for the better! This course will guide students through perfecting the performance of a powerful speech!  Students should bring a written speech (preferably 5-7 minutes) that they are ready to get up on its feet!  If you don't have a speech, one will be provided for you!

Here's a breakdown of what we will cover each week:
Week #1: Read Thru of Prepared Speeches / Stance / Hands / Eyes
Week #2: Presentation / Evaluation / Peer Feedback
Week #3: Revised...

Students will learn a series of speech presentation techniques and will apply those techniques to their speeches over this 4-week course.

I am a Speech and Debate and Public Speaking Coach and have been a Toastmaster and speaker for many years.  I am passionate about communication and I truly believe that every child has an important message to share with the world.  I help students find their voice and best showcase it!

Students will continually apply their feedback for each week's speech performance.  Some may be recommended to revise parts of their speech, but this is not the focus of this class.

Bring your prepared speech to this class.  If you don't have a prepared speech yet, please enroll in "Find Your Voice Speech Writing."

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
