Description

Class Experience

Students will be able to conjugate regular and irregular present tense verbs. They will be able to spell verb conjugations accurately and pronounce them correctly.
For optimal learning, students are expected to practice the grammar concepts throughout the week in addition to watching the weekly lessons. Activities to help students practice include:
Online flashcards through Quizlet.com
Games through Kahoot.com
Printable verb charts that students will fill out and upload to the classroom
Printable summary sheets that students can keep as a resource with verb explanations and conjugations
Discussion questions in the classroom (describe a picture that I will post, post examples of verb conjugations found in songs I will link to, respond to writing prompts, etc.)
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
I will occasionally post links to popular French music videos. Parents are welcome to preview the videos before allowing their student to watch it.
We will use these websites to help students practice the grammar concepts (none of these websites will require a login to use):
Quizlet.com
Kahoot.com
YouTube.com
