It's the season of Friendship and Kindness! Come join me as we get our wiggles and giggles out dancing to the songs "Little Wheel Turning in My Heart" and "Skidamarink" . We will also learn the motions for the song "Love Grows" and practice our counting skills with "Five Little Hearts". After we have grabbed a quick drink, we will settle down and get creative making a heart masterpiece. We will be using toilet paper roll stampers shaped into hearts, red, white, pink, and purple tempera paint, and white paper. As the students are working on making their prints, we will chat about our favorite things to do with our family and friends.
Learning Goals
Children will participate in music and movement activities. Children will strengthen their fine motor skills while creating a heart craft. Children will get a chance to practice their social skills such as talking on topic, waiting their turn, and listening to others.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Students will be actively engaged in class but may need help muting and unmuting.
The art project includes paint and will require supervision.
Supply List
Please bring two toilet paper roll stampers shaped into hearts, a paper plate with red, white, pink and purple tempera paint, and white paper .
