Description
Class Experience
We will improve our letter identification and sound skills We will work on number identification We will work on other literacy and math skills such as but not limited to, 2D and 3D shapes, patterning, matching and more
I have been teaching for more than 30 years in classrooms from birth to 12th grade. I have been a preschool/kindergarten teacher working with 4, 5 and 6 year-old children for the past five years. I attend regular educational classes to stay current on teaching styles and incorporate what I have learned into my classes. I want everyone to have fun!
I will be including resources weekly that include letters, numbers, color pages, art ideas and patterns, writing, cutting and other preschool skills that you can do at your own pace as you see fit for your schedule.
Crayons, pencil, paper, scissors, glue to use during non-instructional time
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learners are assessed through observations and participation in our discussions. Discussions with the children during our time together will help assess the child's understanding of each theme, letter and number.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Make sure your child has room to move for our movement activity at the end. We may be jumping, running in place, reaching etc.
