In this ongoing course, students will engage in activities through songs with a certified music teacher. Important academic concepts will include shapes, colors, numbers, and letters; with simple sign language. Daily activities will include: ● Welcoming/Good Morning songs ● Group Activity/Games ● Sing-Alongs with Sign Language Each week will focus on one concept through song. August 29: Shapes September 5: Colors September 12: Numbers September 19: Letters September 26: Shapes October 3: Colors October 10: Numbers October 17: Letters Students will learn in a guided way through music with the encouragement of participation. Conversation, music, and interaction will lead this course to support student-centered learning. This is an ongoing course. Students can join at any time. No prior knowledge is needed.
