In this fun and interactive math lesson students will learn to illustrate an amount that is more when compared to another quantity. Students will use sorting, counting and comparing to demonstrate what is more. Students will learn the definition of the word more and be able to compare quantities to determine which has more. Students will have opportunity to interact with touch screen activities if they have that available otherwise they will be provided with printouts to use during class. This class will be taught in a group setting and student will be encouraged to interact with their classmates as they have fun learning.

Hello! I’m Teacher Sheila.
I’ve been teaching both children and adults for over 20 years.
I have a Bachelors Degree in education, I’m TESOL certified and I’m homeschool certified as well.
I am currently teaching English online to children in China. I also offer classes in Common Core subjects Online in the US as well.
I have home schooled all five of my children, 4 have graduated 12th grade and I’m currently working with my last kid who will be starting High School this year.
I am so very passionate about teaching that I even spend much of my free time in volunteer work teaching others. My goal is to instill in my students a lifelong love of learning.
In fact I believe in learning so much that I am always involved continuing education myself, whether it be in foreign language, improving my teaching techniques and even weekly public speaking classes.
