Early childhood education plays an important role in the lives of children. It provides children with consistent routines and unlimited learning opportunities and provides families with the security of knowing their child is in a safe and nurturing environment. Having your child attend the class or group throughout their early years allows your child to develop relationships with the teacher and other children in that environment, which provides a sense of security. A child who is comfortable with the people in their life is more likely to participate and grow 😊😊 In this 5 weeks class students will enjoy a virtual preschool: learning letters, numbers, shapes,weather, colors, animals and so much more! Students will get pdf work sheets for each week's lessons that will help them interact with the lessons being taught. Students will be able to show and share the results of their work (if they feel comfortable) and be praised and encouraged for their accomplishments. Learning will not however be worksheet based. The worksheet will simply be a tool to help engage them with the dynamic lesson being taught. As with all of my classes, this will be a fun😄 interactive and lively class. Shy students 😊will not be forced to verbally respond or interact but active participation will be encouraged. Students will learn the number 1. They will learn to recognize the number symbols and match the right number to the amount of objects of the same number. Students will learn about sunny weather and choose what objects are used during sunny weather. Students will learn all about the letter B. They will learn to recognize upper and lower case as well as the sound the letter makes. Students will learn the number 2. They will learn to recognize the number symbols and match the right number to the amount of objects of the same number. Students will learn about rainy weather and choose what objects are used during rainy weather. Students will learn all about the letter C. They will learn to recognize upper and lower case as well as the sound the letter makes. Students will learn the number 3. They will learn to recognize the number symbols and match the right number to the amount of objects of the same number. Students will learn about cold weather and choose what objects are used during cold weather. * Wednesday : Students will learn all about the letter D. They will learn to recognize upper and lower case as well as the sound the letter makes. Students will learn the number 4. Students will learn about windy weather and choose what objects are used during windy weather. Students will learn all about the letter E. Students will learn about circles and will search for and count the circles that are found in a picture. Students will learn all about the letter F. Students will learn jobs 👨✈️👨🏻🔬👩🏻🚒 A pdf will be posted each Wednesday after class for the following week's classes. This pdf will have worksheets that will be used in the next week's classes, and any instructions parents should know about the upcoming classes. This class is meant to help with Preschool age children learn the basic skills and obtain the knowledge that will prepare them for their long term educational lives. I graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor degree in Education, I have a Diploma in Computer Science from Rutgers University and a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Certificate from the International TEFL Academy in the USA.
I have been working with both children and teenagers for over 9 years as a coach and Educator. Before finding Outschool I taught English online with VIPKID to kids in China for over two years.
My favorite teaching experience was with the younger learners because they are so naturally curious and eager to learn about the world around them. My passions have always included beginning reading skills (phonological awareness, phonemic awareness, letter sounds, rhyming, blending, sight words
My goal is to create lessons and activities that are hands-on and cross-curricular. Young children learn best through play, so all of my classes will be play-based while practicing essential early language, reading, and math concepts.
I like to teach all kinds of things for different ages. I teach phonics, numbers, science, and English to young children.
I think learning should be fun and should give energy not to take it. Every student is unique, and I adapt to the student's learning style, never the other way around.
I’m a mother to 2 wonderful kids. I love being with my family, traveling, hiking, working out, and cooking.
