Description
Class Experience
Students will be able to recognize and produce rhymes. Students will be able to isolate the initial sounds of words. Students will be able to blend the parts of spoken sounds (onsets and rimes).
I am an early childhood teacher with nineteen years of classroom experience. I taught First Grade for seventeen years and Kindergarten for two years. I have a Master's degree in Education - Reading and Literacy, a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, and a Bachelor's degree in Business - Finance. While I love teaching all subject areas, I really enjoy teaching children how to read.
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
