In this one-time class we'll talk about vehicles, read a couple of books about cars/trucks/trains, and do a super fun “shaving cream car wash" activity!

This is one of my favorite classes! Who knew you could have so much fun with shaving cream? ***Please see supply list below for some easy on-hand items you'll want to have for class!*** -We'll kick off by talking about some vehicles and reading parts of one of my favorite "Things that Go" books - to get everyone settled and ready to go! -Next, we'll talk as a group about who has been to a car wash and what it's like -Then, we'll a virtual trip to a car wash and see a preview of our craft project -And then the best part - car washing!! It's a fun and foamy time and kids LOVE it! -Another book during car wash time!
Learning Goals
Students will have a chance to learn about and discuss vehicles, and to engage in a sensory craft project using shaving cream! This is a kid-approved project and an easy one to set up. My two year old says, “It’s fun having a car wash! Yeah!”

Supply List
1) Shaving cream or foam soap * 2) Toy cars or trucks that can get foamy! 3) Gadgets to clean your cars with - things like a straw, spoon, old toothbrush, chopsticks, a nail brush, a dish sponge, etc. 4) A tray or cookie sheet for the cars and shaving cream to go in 5) A bowl of water to wash the cars off with.
