Welcome to a fun social class for preschoolers! This is a show and tell class for kids age 3-5. Each week we will explore a different color. Students will be asked to show the class something from their home that is the color of the week. Each week I will start with some examples of the color of the week in different ways: objects, animals, plants, food, clothes and more. We will take turns sharing with each other where we have seen the color recently. Then students will be encouraged to show me something from their home that is the color of the week. This class is a fun social activity for preschoolers where they can share about their world with other kids their age. Classes are on a 10 week rotation. Jump in any time! Week 1 - Red Week 2 - Orange Week 3 - Yellow Week 4 - Green Week 5 - Blue Week 6 - Purple Week 7 - Pink Week 8 - Brown Week 9 - Black Week 10 - White
Learning Goals
Students will learn to recognize a different color each week and have social interaction with other students their own age.

Paper and crayons or colored pencils are suggested but not required.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I love to teach piano! I've been teaching music lessons since 2002 and running my own piano studio since 2014. My goal is to make my students as independent as possible. We do a LOT of note reading and play songs in all kinds of styles, from classical to pop to jazz and anything in between.
I've also been a church music director and pianist and have helped mentor pianists for this job.
But really what I want is for my students to be able to play what they want and enjoy it! Personally I enjoy broadway arrangements, a little bit of jazz and a whole lot of Chopin.
Professionally, I have three music degrees including a master's in music. The youngest I've taught was 3 and the oldest student I had was 75 (and he learned SO FAST!). For online lessons I recommend the child be at least 8 years old.
I live with my husband, my four year old son, my six month old daughter and our three dogs. My hobbies include video games (Animal Crossing) and knitting, and I'm a big Star Trek fan and avid Whovian.Reviews
