US Grade Preschool - Pre-Kindergarten
In this ongoing class learners will work 1:1 with a certified teacher. Learners can work on reading, math, or both. Please contact the teacher with areas of concern before first meeting so that the teacher may provide individualized instruction. If needed the teacher will provide an assessment during the first session to see what the learner needs to work on. Reading topics can include letters and sounds, reading CVC words, reading sentences, sight words, and more. Math topics can include counting, addition and subtraction strategies, shapes, comparing numbers, and more.

Worksheets and items needed for class will be sent to learners before each session.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello, my name is Ms. Stephanie! I have been on Outschool for almost 3 years and teaching for the past twelve years. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Minor in Elementary Education. I have been a tutor and a lead classroom teacher for Kindergarten and First Grade. I love working with children and seeing them learn and grow. I believe children learn best through having fun and participating in engaging activities.
I also have a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work. I am able to use this degree to teach learners about emotions, fears, personality, etc.
I have visited several countries and lived in four different states. I have two children of my own.
