Class Experience
Join Mrs. Dahl for a fun lesson to explore silly turkeys! This class is designed for 3 to 5 year old preschool/preK students. We will begin class by welcoming everyone with a "Hello" song. Next we will sing "Hello, Mr. Turkey" with actions. Then we will read the rhyme "Five Little Turkeys" with visuals. Then, we will take turns counting feathers on some silly turkeys. Students will improve their social/emotional skills by turn taking and following directions. Students will improve counting and number sense through music, rhymes, game and a story. Students will improve fine motor and visual motor skills by tracing the turkey and the word "turkey."
I am certified teacher in Washington State. I have experience as a preschool special education teacher (5 years) and teaching young learners (3-7) for 20 years. Preschool is my passion! From stories, to sensory tables, to art projects, songs, snacks, paint and glitter, I love teaching preschool and the creativity it brings.
