Class Experience

US Grade Preschool
In this fun and engaging preschool class, we will work on one letter of the alphabet and one number per class. Each class your learner will sing and dance to our ABC phonics song, create the letter and number of the day out of play-dough, and get to show off an item from their home that displays their understanding of the letter or number our class is focusing on. This class is designed for your 3-6 year old learner that loves music, socializing, and hands on learning. I strongly believe that most learning begins with play in the preschool/kindergarten age group. My classroom is a place where students can wiggle when they need to, make new friends, and have a lot of fun while learning!

You can scroll down below to see the class schedule. For specific dates and times, just scroll down to the class day/time that our class meets. If you are the first student enrolled in a new section, I will update the schedule below to reflect our class days/times within 24 hours of enrollment :)

Supply List
Students will need to bring some playdough to each class. It only needs to be enough for them to create a letter or number, but they can bring as much as they want, if they want to create throughout class (all learners are different, and some students learn better with something to do with their hands). All colors and brands of play-dough products will work fine!
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello! My name is Teacher Donna and I am so excited to meet you! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education with a concentration in English, an active teaching certificate, and am currently in the process of completing my Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist. I teach here on Outschool, teach English Language Learners on another online teaching platform, and stay home with my own four young kiddos. My kids (ages 13, 10, 8, and 6) keep me on my toes and help me to come up with new and fun lessons to bring into the classroom for your own little learners. I love teaching children of all ages, and am looking forward to becoming your child's Teacher. My teaching philosophy is that, "We are Lifelong Learners!" I want to foster a love of learning in my classroom through engaging, fun, and creative lessons. I hope to see you in my classroom very soon!
