Students will learn colors, pasta shapes, and counting. Students will develop fine motor skills by threading, picking up, gluing, counting, sorting, placing, and shaking. Each project is practice time for learning and growing imaginations, creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Classroom preparation: 1. Dry colored pasta 2. Store colored pasta 3. Mix a spoonful of each pasta into a bag.
Rigatoni Macaroni Rotini Bow-Tie Shells Penne Wagon Wheel Pasta Food color or Acrylic paint Vinegar or Alcohol Bags - storage or sandwich, plastics containers or canning jars to storage pasta Gloves (optional) Rubber Bands Recycled Can or empty water bottle Crayon's or Marker's Construction Paper or Card Stock Yarn or String Balloon Ruler (optional) Liquid Glue
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
