Preschool Pals: Preschool Social Club

In this class, your child will have the opportunity to just be a kid! We will chat with each other while we play with play-doh. Students will improve social skills, make new friends and talk about their play-doh creations with each other. This class will give your child an opportunity to connect with other children their age and just relax and have fun. We will begin class by having show and tell time. Students will then have opportunity to chat with each other. I will gently guide conversation for learners who are shy.

Social interaction helps young children develop their sense of self, and also start to learn what others expect from them. This class will give students the social interaction that they need with children their age.

Play-doh can give a child hours of countless fun but it is also very beneficial in many other ways. Playing with play-doh develops fine motor skills and enhances hand-eye coordination. It is calming and encourages creativity. Playing with play-doh will improve social skills as your child talks with new friends about what they are creating.
