25 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
This class will be action-packed with a lot of opportunity for movement. Songs will include classics as well as some new tunes. Children will learn to differentiate between high and low, fast and slow, loud and quiet through repetition and song. They will be able to share ideas with favourite animals from the farm, jungle, ocean, ect. . No instruments are required for this class, however, it would be fun to have a shaker, or even wooden spoon and plastic bowl to make music together! Each class will begin with a greeting and end with a goodbye song.
Learning Goals
Students will learn musical elements of high and low and loud and quiet. They will also practice sharing and listening with their peers!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Welcome!
My name is Tabitha! I'm a Mom of 4 - ages 8- 23, whom I have homeschooled off and on for many years.
I absolutely love music! There are so many benefits that music brings to our lives! I have a Degree in Music and have used this since 2002 for teaching private lessons in guitar, piano, and flute, as well as group settings with young children in Music and movement. I have also had experience teaching in Classrooms for Grades 1-8 Music.
I love teaching, sharing in the joy of learning, and making music! In my classroom, there will be a lot of energy and movement! I make an effort to get to know something about each student in class and desire for them to feel like a part of the team!
I love teaching from my kitchen. Lately, my garden has been overflowing with yummy food and I have enjoyed finding and making new recipes! The kitchen is such a happy place for me, and I believe that anyone at any age can learn great skills in the kitchen! I love to make simple, yummy recipes and share these with students to help them gain confidence in the kitchen too!
If you see a class that you are interested in but would like an alternative time, please message me and I will try to make it work!
I hope to get to know you in the classroom and make music and food together!
