In this one-time class we will talk about and share our favourite Unicorn with the class. We will sing a few Unicorn songs, do a Unicorn dance and play a quick game of BINGO.
Class experience
Bring along your favourite Unicorn. In our class we will talk about our Unicorns, sing a few unicorn themed songs and then play a game of Bingo. This class will include both music and movement. Imagination and creativity peak during the preschool years. Through imaginative play, children begin to rehearse roles they may play later in life and being to explore feelings and develop empathy for others. My focus in my classes is to nurture the child's natural tendency to explore the world...
Based on the understanding that children learn best through play, the focus is on being involved and having fun. The kids don't even realize how much they are learning! Early music concepts involving tempo and rhythm will be taught as well as other important pre-school concepts such as turn taking, sharing, colours, simple counting and using their words. Children will see their own potential and growth in self-esteem, as well as in their appreciation of each other.
