Preschool Music and Movement Flex Class, Part 1.

Note: This class is a flexible version of my on-going class "Preschool Music and Movement Class". 

During this 5-week flexible schedule course,  students will explore the piano and learn basic music theory concepts, including High and   Low sounds, Loud and Soft, Fast and Slow tempos, and Finger Numbers. 
Each week teacher will post a pre-recorded engaging video for students to follow along by singing, dancing, clapping, or marching together with the teacher. Teacher will also read a short story to reinforce the new concept. 
  Students will be provided with a coloring assignment and will be encouraged to share the pictures in the classroom for the feedback. 
  We will also play a scavenger hunt game, where the teacher will ask the students to find something around the house that is Fast, for example, and share a picture of it in the classroom with other learners. 
 
         Weekly Topics:
Week 1: High and Low Sounds, Story time: "Melody Learns about High and Low"
Week 2: Loud and Soft Sounds, Story time: "Skip Learns about Loud and Soft"
Week 3: Music Alphabet, Story time: "The Music Alphabet"
Week 4: Tempo: Lento (Slow), Story time: "Skip Learns Lento"
Week 5: Tempo: Allegro (Fast), Story time; "Melody Learns Allegro"
Week 6: Two Black Keys and CDEs, Story time: "Skip and Melody Find the Two Black Keys"
Week 7: Three Black Keys and FGABs, Story Time: "Skip and Melody Find the Three Black Keys"
Week 8 Finger Numbers, Story time: "Fun with Finger Numbers"


Piano is not required for this class. 
Students may use something that they can make nose with, like homemade shakers, if they don't have any other instruments.
Students will need pencils for coloring activities.
