This class will be taught three times a week. It will have the same routine each class so the children will know what to expect. We will start out with introductions/welcome song, calendar (which includes days of the week, counting, etc.), weather, letter/color/shape/number of the week. We will learn through music, repetition, books, and lots of props. Each week we will be learning a new letter/color/shape/ or number. I will send out a new file each work with different items to help reinforce the things we are learning each week. I will also include ideas to use for reinforcing these skills too. These are optional for the child outside of class.
Learning Goals
Students will learn and be exposed to basic math skills along with calendar skills (days of the week, months of the year), weather, letters, colors, shapes, and numbers. Students will be exposed to literature, singing, dancing, and comprehension skills. Students will also get practice with social skills, the online classroom, and conversation skills with fellow classmates. Upon registration each week each registrant will receive a PDF of printouts, directions, and supplies for optional activities outside of class to reinforce what we are learning that week in class
