US Grade Preschool
In this super fun class learners will be introduced to preschool math using gummy bears. We will work on numbers 1-10. We will also use gummy bears to sort and compare. I will start the glass with a welcome song. I will use a google slide to play a gummy bear math game if time allows. Learners are encouraged to have gummy bears they can use for sorting and counting or they can count and group along with the class. We will use different colored bears to add together learning basic math skills. We will end the class dancing to, I'm a Gummy Bear. Beginner knowledge of numbers is encouraged but not needed. Upon enrollment learners will have 2 sheets available, sorting gummy bears by color. Second sheet for counting and tracing the number they have.
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to count objects, group by color, and add objects together.

Upon enrollement Ms. B will send you a sheet to print up and bring to class. Don't forget to bring gummy bears to class (recommended).

When the pandemic started, I knew right away that homeschooling was the journey our family would be taking. I have been homeschooling along with teaching. I began teaching when I was 18! I fell in love with teaching and showing students that they were Rockstars! (Reading Rockstar, Math Rockstar, Social Studies Rock Star). It was very important to me that learners felt that they were awesome and could rock any subject that was taught.
I have two amazing kids!! A Jr. in high school and a middle school learner. Our favorite things to do as a family is to travel and collect board games.
I am a huge advocate for special needs students. My son’s journey with Autism and ADHD taught me so much from learning about different therapies to IEP goals. I create classes so that all children with different abilities can participate and feel valued.
With my ten years’ experience, as a preschool teacher my passion is teaching children through engaging activities, while having fun. Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a private tutor for Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Currently I am working towards my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and becoming a certified Curriculum Specialist. With different classroom setting experiences I had the opportunity to focus on phonics, reading, sensory activities, science experience and history. Getting children excited about learning is what drives me every day.
