Description

Class Experience

I ask that students keep their camera on for the majority of class. Please reach out ahead of time if this will not work for your child.

Daily Routine:
Greet each other and answer question of the day
Review any relevant topics from previous weeks
Preview today’s topic

Students will be able to identify and practice book handling skills. 
Students will develop their ability to answer questions about a text, talk about characters and make predictions.

I am a certified Early Childhood Educator.

Students should have a piece of paper and drawing utensils for each class. This can include markers, crayons or a pencil if your child is ready for that. 

Students will need to bring a book with them to the first three weeks of class to demonstrate book handling skills, identify parts of a book and work on finding the author/illustrator.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
