US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this ongoing class, we will meet twice a week where one letter is introduced in each class. This will be mainly a letter recognition class but there will be some sounds too! Your child will be actively involved by way of power point slides, bingo blotter letters, play doh mat, show-n-tell and some movements such as: Buzz like a bee! March like an ant. *Students will work on letter recognition *Students will practice making the letters. *Students will improve their understanding of how to make letters. *Students will learn to work in a group with other students.
I am an experienced elementary reading teacher and have a great love for teaching phonics to promote great writers and readers of the future. I want my students to be excited about learning and in my classes I make sure that happens!
