Description
Class Experience
This is a super fun circle time for ages 3-6. Each lesson begins with show and tell and calendar time where we practice days of the weeks, months of the year, and chat about seasons, holidays and other special days. We will have a letter of the day, number of the day, color of the day, and shape of the day each class. Each week, the activities of each lesson will center around the engaging theme. This class is taught in English.
This 2x weekly circle time is a great way for students to make new friends and interact with each other, while learning all the basics. We will build listening, speaking and taking turns skills, as well as learning letters, phonics, shapes, numbers, counting, patterns, colors and explore fun and engaging themes.
Optional homework extras are provided each week.
Learners may bring: 1. Show and Tell 2. Optional Activity or Color Page posted prior to each class. 3. Notebook (or blank paper) and favorite markers or colors. 4. Wednesdays- Basic craft supplies may be needed. Supplies may include stick glue, colors, markers, a printable which a parent has prepared prior to class; occasionally playdough, watercolor paints or scavenger hunt bag will be used. I will post several days in advance prior to the lesson. Parents may supervise and assist quietly off camera as needed.
1 hour 10 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents can assist quietly off camera if needed. Learners may keep their microphones on if they are in a quiet setting. If there is background noise, conversations or computer interference (like echoes), I will mute as needed. Learners can un-mute when called on to share, and may need a parent to assist with turning microphone back on. Only enrolled learners may participate in the class. *For days that we use playdough, please note that playdough contains wheat and may affect those with sensitivities. Parents may feel free to make a substitution if your learner as needed.
