What will be taught: Preschoolers will understand that shape refers to the way something looks. Will understand that there are many different shapes and sizes, will learn that some shapes have specific names and lines that join in some way. Art and Creativity: Students will create art using shapes, participate in singing songs and dancing. Cognitive Skills: Will identify shapes in their environments. Preschoolers will develop skills in art and creativity which will give them the flexibility to be innovative that makes the student think and be creative. Every students learns differently and learn through song, chants or an activity challenging the student to meet their needs in developing these skills. The lessons will provide the student the skills and experiences that will encourage critical thinking, imagination, creative expression, physical activity, social and emotional learning.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do gross motor activities and a place to do their art activities. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
